End of the Season

The season is coming to a close at Sauvie Island Farms.

We do have a few O'Henry peach trees that have nice peaches on them, but they are not tree ripened yet.

There is a nice patch of Sweet Corn, Chester blackberries, Blue Crop blueberries and beautiful flowers blooming in the u-cut garden.

September 2-7 the farm will be open 9-5 for Self Serve only.   No one will be at the farm to assist you. Bring your own containers and clippers.  We will have instructions at the farm.  Pay using CASH or VENMO only.

We did this at the end of the season last year, and had an issue with theft (our scale), but are going to do it again this year.  It is your last chance to bring home more berries, corn, peaches-if they ever ripen and beautiful flowers from our farm.

PEACHES

Pick Your Own ROSA Peaches start Saturday August 3 at Sauvie Island Farms.

We have lots of peaches this year, but they are smaller in size.  Great flavor and sweet.

After the Rosas are all picked, we will wait until the VETERAN peaches are ripe.  We also have a few Hale-Haven and Elberta trees, waiting to ripen.

Blue Crop Blueberries are great for picking this week, and the Chester Blackberries are starting to ripen.

SO MANY flowers are blooming at the farm, waiting for you to cut and take home.

Green beans, pickling cukes, zucchini, dill and cabbage also.  Waiting for the sweet corn to mature.
