This week on the farm

Sauvie Island Farms is open Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm. 

Even in HOT weather!

This week on the farm, we are picked out of ripe peaches.  The Early Red Havens are done

and we are waiting for the Red Havens to tree-ripen.  Check our farm info line at

for the most current u-pick conditions.  

We hope to open for more peaches sometime next week.

We have beautiful raspberries, blueberries and marionberries, sweet and easy to pick this week.

Great veggies: green beans, pickling cucumbers, dills, zucchini, kale, cabbage, peas, peppers,

broccoli and cauliflower.   

The u-cut flowers are blooming with dalias, sunflowers, daisies, glads,

zinnias, cosomo, bachelor buttons, as well as basil, cilantor, and lavender!!

Come enjoy the sunshine  on the farm.

 Sauvie Island Farms BLUEBERRIES and RASPBERRIES:

Early Blue Blueberries & Blue Crop Blueberries are BOTH 

 plentiful and ready to be picked.

 Yellow Raspberries

 Tulameen, Coho & Saanich Red Raspberries are sweet and perfectly ripe.

These berries are ready to be picked, and will continue to ripen with the hot weather!  It's time to get them off the vines! $2.00 per lb u pick.  We have fresh picked each day if you do not want to pick your own.

 By the end of the week, Marionberries should sweeten up and be ready to harvest also.

Veggies available:  Kale, Cabbage, Spinach, Peas & Zucchini

Flowers & Herbs: Hydrangeas, Shasta Daisies, Lilies, Sunflowers, Lavender, Dill, Basil, Cilantro.

That was fast!

Strawberry season at Sauvie Island Farms

 is coming to a quick finish.

Sweet, but small berries left, picking will take

some effort! 

We will keep the fields open thru June 18th.

Early Blue Blueberries are ripe!  Only $2 per lb u-pick.

Yellow & Red Raspberries ripening also.  Not a large

quantity yet, just a few handfuls of sweetness!

Also $2 per lb u-pick

Spinach and Kale ready to harvest $3 per lb.

A few flowers are starting to bloom~ hydrangeas, daisies, lavender.

Beautiful Oregon weather

The strawberries at Sauvie Island Farms are loving this warm weather and they are ripening quickly.  The Hoods, Valley Reds and Shuksans are
all ready to harvest NOW!  They are large sized, easy to pick and as sweet as ever. 
U-pick strawberries are $1.50 per lb.  We also have fresh picked each day. 
This is the week to come to the farm for some gorgeous Oregon strawberries! The strawberries won't last long.  And this year, you can leave your rain boots at home!!

2014 Strawberries!!

Sauvie Island Farms 'pick your own' season will open on Friday, May 30th with

u-pick Hood strawberries, 

u-cut Peonies and a few u-cut herbs.  

We will be open Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm. Closed on Sundays.

The strawberry plants are loaded with berries waiting to ripen. 

Come out to get sweet Oregon grown strawberries.

Once we get started harvesting the strawberries, we

should have good picking for the next 3-4 weeks!

2013 season has come to an end

Sauvie Island Farms is now closed for the 2013 season.

Thank you for a great year of berry, peach & veggie harvest, pumpkins and christmas trees!

We wish all of you a joyous Christmas and 

a very Happy New Year!

We will be open in 2014 when the strawberries are ripe!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The snow has come to Sauvie Island Farms.

We are OPEN for you to cut your own Christmas tree.

Monday-Saturdays 10-5 thru December 21st.

Douglas, Grand and Noble Firs trees.  Wreaths and garland also.
We provide saws and carts to use on the farm.
