Sauvie Island Farms will open for the first day of 

Pick Your Own Strawberries

on Thursday, May 28th from 8am- 7pm.  

Hood, Shuksan and Valley Reds are ripe and ready to be picked.

U pick price is only $1.50 lb.
We will have fresh picked flats of Hood strawberries each day.

Also u-cut Peonies, and a salad mix lettuce!!

Our hours are 8am-7pm Monday - Saturday

Closed on Sundays.

Rosa Peaches, Sweet Corn, Chester Blackberries

Rosa Peaches are tree ripened and ready to be pick at Sauvie Island Farms.

This is a freestone peach, which means it comes off the pit nicely.  

Great flavor and easy to work with!

Our blueberry season is coming to a quick end, there are a just a few 

Blue Crop blueberries left to pick.

Each day , more and more Chester Blackberries are ripening, and there are lots 

of red ones waiting to ripen.

Our marionberry season is also coming to an end, if you hunt around you can find a few pounds.

Bodacious Sweet Corn is ready to be pick, 

also cabbage, kale, zucchini, peppers, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, slicing and lemon cucumbers.  It will be another week before we have a new planting of green beans and pickling cucumbers.  

So many flowers blooming right now, the u-cut garden is bursting with color!

Red Haven Peaches

Red Haven Peaches are tree-ripened and ready to be picked at Sauvie Island Farms.

These peaches are so easy to pick, very sweet and great for canning, freezing or fresh eating.

We have a good crop this year, so should be picking these for the next week or more.

There are still plenty of blueberries to be picked. some raspberries and marions.

Chester blackberries are slowly ripening, you can find a handful.

Lot of veggies: kale, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini.  

We just started a new field of pickling cukes and green beans.  

Sweet corn should be ready to pick in the next week.

Our flowers are blooming!!  So many sunflowers that we are having a special, 

buy one get one free!

Zinnias, dahlias, glads, cosmos, amaranthus, bachelor buttons, daisies, and more!  Herbs also!

Even in HOT weather!

This week on the farm, we are picked out of ripe peaches.  The Early Red Havens are done

and we are waiting for the Red Havens to tree-ripen.  Check our farm info line at

for the most current u-pick conditions.  

We hope to open for more peaches sometime next week.

We have beautiful raspberries, blueberries and marionberries, sweet and easy to pick this week.

Great veggies: green beans, pickling cucumbers, dills, zucchini, kale, cabbage, peas, peppers,

broccoli and cauliflower.   

The u-cut flowers are blooming with dalias, sunflowers, daisies, glads,

zinnias, cosomo, bachelor buttons, as well as basil, cilantor, and lavender!!

Come enjoy the sunshine  on the farm.

Early Blue Blueberries & Blue Crop Blueberries are BOTH 

 plentiful and ready to be picked.

 Yellow Raspberries

 Tulameen, Coho & Saanich Red Raspberries are sweet and perfectly ripe.

These berries are ready to be picked, and will continue to ripen with the hot weather!  It's time to get them off the vines! $2.00 per lb u pick.  We have fresh picked each day if you do not want to pick your own.

 By the end of the week, Marionberries should sweeten up and be ready to harvest also.

Veggies available:  Kale, Cabbage, Spinach, Peas & Zucchini

Flowers & Herbs: Hydrangeas, Shasta Daisies, Lilies, Sunflowers, Lavender, Dill, Basil, Cilantro.

Strawberry season at Sauvie Island Farms

 is coming to a quick finish.

Sweet, but small berries left, picking will take

some effort! 

We will keep the fields open thru June 18th.

Early Blue Blueberries are ripe!  Only $2 per lb u-pick.

Yellow & Red Raspberries ripening also.  Not a large

quantity yet, just a few handfuls of sweetness!

Also $2 per lb u-pick

Spinach and Kale ready to harvest $3 per lb.

A few flowers are starting to bloom~ hydrangeas, daisies, lavender.
