Raspberries

Sauvie Island Farms has started to pick red raspberries.   The Tulameens are ready to pick this week.
Saanich need some more days to ripen and the Cohos should be ready to pick next week.
The yellow raspberries have a small amount ready to pick with more to ripen by next week.

There are nice ripe Early Blue blueberries ready to pick this week.  And we saw a few marionberries that were ripe.  They should be ready to pick next week also.  Our newest berry on the farm, the Tayberries also have a few ripe, sweet berries.  This berry is a cross between a raspberry and a blackberry.

We do have fresh picked flats of blueberries and raspberries daily.  Let us know ahead of time if you would to have a flat picked for you.  Call 503-621-3988 and leave a message.

Veggies: spinach, kale, cabbage, swiss chard, radish, turnip, beets, peas, leeks.
Flowers & Herbs: shasta daisies, lavender, hydrangea, baby's breath, spearmint, sage.

Blueberries

Our first variety of blueberries are ripe and ready to be picked.
The Early Blue blueberries are large sized and have a great blueberry flavor.
They are so easy to pick.  Only $2.50 per lb.  These are great for fresh eating and they
freeze great.  Our blueberry season starts with these beauties and continues into the Blue Crop and Liberty.  We should have blueberries for you to pick from now until mid August.

Our strawberry fields are still open.  The season is coming to an end, but there are sweet, smaller sized strawberries waiting to be picked.  We will keep the strawberry fields open this week.

Raspberries are coming soon.

Veggies for you to pick on  the farm this week:  kale, spinach, swiss chard, radishes, turnips, beets.
