end of the peaches.....

We are picking the Elberta peaches this week, and will finish  the week with the O'Henry variety.
We will be finished with peaches when these two are gone.

Bartlett Pear trees are loaded and need to be picked now.  Pick pears firm and let them ripen up at home.  If you keep them refrigerated they will not ripen as quickly.
Chester blackberries are great this week.
Nice yellow raspberries.
Blueberries are at the end of the season.
Sweet corn, cabbage, peppers, kale are the best veggies this week.
End of the season for green beans and pickling cukes.
Sunflowers are blooming!!

so many PEACHES

The peaches at Sauvie Island Farms are ripening quickly.
We have several peach varieties ripe and ready to pick this week.
We are at the end of the Red Havens, the Hale-Havens are almost gone, we have some Rosas that need to be picked and the Veterans are ripening and starting to fall off the trees.  If you want to get fresh tree ripened peaches this summer, this is the week to come out and pick.  Many peaches have already ripened and fallen off the trees.

Bartlett pears are ready to pick also!

Chester Blackberries are huge and great flavor right now.  Blue Crop Blueberries
are easy to pick and the yellow raspberries are ripening nicely.

Veggies this week:  Sweet Corn-bi-color and Bodacious.  Green beans, pickling cucumbers, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, leeks, peppers, & eggplant.

Sunflowers are blooming and many other flowers.
