On the farm...

Saturday August 15, tree ripen Veteran peaches will be available. We are not sure how long they will last in the orchard, so come as soon as you can.

We have two more varieties of peaches after the Veterans are gone.  Elbertas & O'Henrys.  We hope to have those available by the end of next week.

Chester blackberries are ripening quickly in this hot weather.  The vines do not have thorns on them, so they are so easy to pick.  Also the yellow raspberries are coming on again.  Blueberries are nearing the end of the season.

Lot of sweet corn, bi-color, bodacious and honey select, ready to be picked.

Green bean, pickling cukes, kale, zucchini, basil and many flowers are all ready for you to pick.

We are open Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm  Closed on sundays.

Please do not bring your own containers this year, we will supply boxes for you to use.  Also please wear a face mask while at the farm.

Veteran Peaches

Sauvie Island Farms will open for Veteran peaches on Friday August 7.
These peaches have a great flavor and are so easy to work with.  They are a favorite for freezing and canning.  The trees in the orchard are loaded with fruit, but is is hard to predict how long it will take to get them all picked.

After the Veterans are picked out, we have Early Elbertas and O'Henrys.  These two look like they need a couple more weeks to ripen.  Peaches are for u-pick only, at $2.00 lb.

Chester Blackberries, Blue Crop & Liberty blueberries pick your own $3.00 lb

Bartlett Pears $2.00 lb, pick these firm off the trees, and let them ripen up at home.

Also this week:   Bi-color Sweet Corn, green beans, pickling cukes, slicing cukes, kale, zucchini, basil, cilantro, and lots of flowers in bloom.

We are open Monday-Saturday 8-6.
Do not bring your own containers this year, we will supply boxes for you to pick into.  Also please wear a mask and practice social distancing while at the farm.  thanks.
