Veteran peaches...and more

It's time!

The Veteran peaches are ripe and ready to be picked at Sauvie Island Farms.  We will open the orchard on Monday August 9    8am-6pm.

The Veteran peaches are a free stone which means they come off the pit easily. The skins slips right out also.  Since they are so easy to work with, they are a favorite for many who want to can or freeze.  The flavor is so sweet this year also! There are tons of peaches on the trees this year!

Also this week:

Blue Crop  & Liberty Blueberries

Chester Blackberries

Yellow raspberries

Bartlett Pears

Sweet Corn -- Bi-color, Honey Select & Bodacious

Cabbage, green beans, pickling and slicing cukes, zucchini,  basil, dill, cilantro, sunflowers, zinnias, dahlia, cosmos, amaranthus, glads, bachelor buttons, marigolds and more.

We are open Monday-Saturday    8am-6pm.  With the high temperatures predicted later this week, we may adjust our closing hour, so check the farm info line:      503-621-3988 or look for current update on facebook
