Although we do NOT have strawberries on our farm this year, there are beautiful, sweet strawberries growing on Sauvie Island.
We were blessed today with a couple of flats of Hood strawberries from our friends at Columbia Farms. Our daughter made several batches of freezer jam and a strawberry pie! yum. If you are still looking for u-pick strawberries on Sauvie Island, try Columbia Farms on Gillihan Road. They have been picking for a couple of weeks, so the strawberry season will be finishing up soon!
