more berries...MARIONBERRIES!!

Marionberries are RIPE...and ready to pick at
Sauvie Island Farms.

Marionberries....are native Oregonians. A cross between Chehalem blackberry and Olallieberry blackberry. If you are interested in more info...and more importantly a great resource for recipes, go to
http://www.oregon-berries.com/marionberry.cfm
We have beautiful, sweet MARIONBERRIES for you to pick starting Friday, July 1oth for just $1.75 per lb. Our marionberries had some freeze damage from the harsh winter we had this past year, so we do not expect to have a long season. Come out as soon as you can to get your marionberries. If you miss out, it looks like we will have a great crop of Chester blackberries in the near future!!

The LAVENDER is ready for you to cut.

Lavender is a beautiful herb, that looks and smells great in a vase on your table...but there are also so many other uses...and it is also used in recipes!! We sell lavender and other herbs by the 'bundle'. Basically whatever you can grasp between your thumb and forefinger...is $2.oo.
Also raspberries, blueberries, lettuce, green beans, dahlias, sunflowers, cilantro, and other flowers are ready for you to pick!! Hope to see you soon on the farm.
