Sauvie Island Farms STRAWBERRIES

Beautiful strawberries are available for you to pick at Sauvie Island Farms.

This cool, damp weather has slowed the ripening a bit, but we still have great berries ready for you to pick. We will have an extended season this year, which means we should still be picking sweet strawberries thru the first week of July.
We have also started picking the Early Blue blueberries. This is our first variety to ripen each year, the blueberries LOVE all the water and the cool weather.
Raspberries are just starting to ripen also, if you want your first taste for the season, you can be selective and find some sweet ripe ones. Larger quantities should be ready in another week.
We also have some baby spinach for you to cut, a few herbs, lavender, and some flowers are starting to bloom in the u-cut garden.
The weather is warming up....our tractor pulled wagon ride is running each day and we hope to see you soon on the farm.

I pick some last week. They have been great. I made a few batches of strawberry jam. I'll have to go back for more berries soon.
