today at the farm

I have always loved flowers.
For the past couple of years we have been expanding our
u cut flower garden, adding more varieties each year. With the cold, rainy spring of 2010, we wondered if we would ever have nice flowers in bloom for this season. All the annuals had a slow start and we had to replant over 2/3 of our dahlias that didn't make it thru the winter.
Today at the farm we had a group come out to pick flowers for a wedding. I think they did a great job finding beautiful, colorful flowers. I was pleasantly pleased that we had such a wide assortment for them! The flowers are so gorgeous all together in their containers, I just wanted to share them with you.

If you need a large quantity of flowers, we sell them by the bucket for only $15. Bring your own buckets, or we have those for sale also!
Today we picked the first of our SWEET CORN....finally. You will also find blueberries, chester blackberries and tree ripened sweet peaches for u-pick this week at the farm. Green beans, pickling cukes, zucchini, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, & peppers are also available.
Our tractor pulled wagon rides runs daily. Hope to see you soon at the farm!
