It's just mid August...

Usually during the middle of August we are picking sweet peaches from our orchard.  This year, it's a different story.  All of the peaches at Sauvie Island Farms have been harvested. Peach season is over. Blueberries are finished for this year also.  All our crops have been at least two weeks early this summer, which means they all have come to an early end.

On this farm, we do have beautiful Bartlett Pears, it's a great crop this year.  The pears are picked firm off the trees, and then you let them ripen and soften up at home.

Chester blackberries and yellow raspberries are available for picking also!

Sweet Corn, pickling cukes, green beans, zucchini, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, slicing & lemon cukes, bell peppers & assortment of hot peppers, tomatoes and eggplant
are also ripe and ready to be picked this week!
Beautiful dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, statice are blooming in our u-cut flower garden, lots of dill, cilantro, basil, rosemary and more in the herb garden!!

We are open Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm.  Closed sundays.
