2016

It's the first week of  May, warm temperatures, and lots of questions about when the strawberries will be ripe.
Since a picture can be worth a thousand words, here is the strawberry field.
Little white flower blooms and tiny green strawberries.
This means it will be a couple more weeks before the first strawberries turn
red,  it than takes another week for them to grow and get sweet!

We have not set an opening date, but it looks like it will be close to the end of  May.

We will update the phone line, website & facebook page when we are ready for you to come out and pick some ripe Oregon strawberries.
Also, u-cut peonies by the end of May.
It's going to be another great year at Sauvie Island Farms!
