Peaches

Yep, it's happened--the ROSA peaches have ripen so quickly that many have dropped off the trees and are on the ground.  Good news is that there are still beautiful, sweet peaches on the trees.  These need to be picked quickly.

We will have both Hale- Haven and Rosa peaches for you to pick
for the rest of this week.
The u-pick price is $1.50 per lb, $1.25 if you pick over 15 lbs
and $1.00 per lb if you pick over 50 lbs.
You can also pick the 'windfalls' off the ground for only 75 cents per lb.

At the farm this week, we have Bodacious Sweet Corn 4/$1.  Green Beans and Pickling cucumbers for you to pick, $1.00 per lb, over 15 lbs the price is 75 cents per lb.  Also cabbage, kale, zucchini, yellow raspberries, Chester blackberries and the end of the season Blueberries.

Our u-cut dahlias suffered from the cold, frozen winter, wet spring and then the hot temperatures this past couple of months.  We do not have as many blooms as other years but some dahlias are ready to be cut. The zinnias, cosmos, amaranths, marigolds, and sunflowers are blooming and also ready to be cut.
